If someone borrows money from you, you're probably happy
to get it back in a reasonable amount of time.
With fewer sales of cars, homes and other items, the economy grows
more slowly.
The interest rate that banks charge each other for such a loan is
known as the "Fed funds rate."
Although the Fed funds rate has the biggest effect on interest rates
for money borrowed over short periods of time, it may also affect
loans for longer periods.
In each issue of Dollar Digest,® we tell you about a company
whose stock is held by Stein Roe Young Investor Fund.

oLDL is generated by the action of free radicals and
results in the appearance of modified epitopes which are immunogenic.
In consequence, oxidized LDL antibodies (oLAB) are generated.
Antibodies to oLDL have been described in various disorders.
Although their clinical significance has been demonstrated only
in carotid and coronary atherosclerosis (2, 25, 36, 44), it has
been proposed that they represent a biological marker of lipid peroxidation.
These oxidation products react with oLAB and decrease their concentrations.
The low density lipoproteins (LDL) are very sensitive on these radical
mediated lipid peroxidations, whereby oxidized LDL (oLDL) is produced
as a result.

Critical filter vacuums require both safety and efficiency.
Clean Room Vacs - Specially designed to reduce the incidence of
airborne dust including carbon dust from motor-cooling air.
For use with Class 1-100,000 clean rooms.
This vac is air operated with high static lift (180) and CFM rating
of 182 for recovering large amounts of liquid debris quickly and
safely.
Outside of normal filter changing/cleaning and the cleaning of the
tanks the vacuums need no maintenance since they use no moving parts.
These vacuums can be used for moving most any type of material wet
or dry (wet requires that the vacuum be equipped with a water shutoff).

Background---Beta-2 adrenoceptor agonists have been associated
with sudden death in asthma patients but the cause and underlying
mechanism are unclear.
A study was undertaken to investigate the e Vect of hypoxia on the
systemic vascular eVects of salbutamol in patients with asthma who
are hypoxic by assessing forearm blood flow (FBF) as a measure of
peripheral vasodilatation.
Patras.6 In the present study, using identical methodology, we have
compared the data of that survey with that of two surveys conducted
in 1991 and 1998 in order to determine possible changes in the prevalence
of asthma over the last 20 years.
The following standard parental questionnaire was distributed in
all three surveys: (1) Has a physician stated that your child had
asthma in the last 2 years?

Many allergy sufferers are currently suffering through
one of their most miserable times of the year because the ragweeds
and many other plants are pollinating.
Corn has been commonly described by the number of days required
to reach maturity.
This was not entirely accurate because unusually cool or hot weather
could change the days required to reach maturity.
For the fall calving cowherd: Separate Cow herd into management
groups for the calving season and the winter feeding period.
This will allow each group to be fed according to their specific
nutritional requirements.
In other words, first calf heifers, mature cows, open heifers.

Potassium Chloride in 5% Dextrose and Sodium Chloride
Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic solution for fluid and
electrolyte replenishment and caloric supply in a single dose container
for intravenous administration.
D-Glucose monohydrate The Viaflex® Plus plastic container is
fabricated from a specially formulated polyvinyl chloride (PL 146®
Plastic).
Potassium Chloride in 5% Dextrose and Sodium Chloride Injection,
USP should be used with great care, if at all, in patients with
congestive heart failure, severe renal insufficiency, and in clinical
states in which there exists edema with sodium retention.
The intravenous administration of Potassium Chloride in 5% Dextrose
and Sodium Chloride Injection, USP can cause fluid and/or solute
overloading resulting in dilution of serum electrolyte concentrations,
overhydration, congested states or pulmonary edema.
If supplemental medication is desired, follow directions below.

Middle ear infection is caused by bacteria or viruses
that enter the middle ear space from the nose or throat via the
Eustachian tube (see diagram).
Middle ear infections are also more frequent among children who
attend day care centers, children with hay fever (nasal allergy),
and those whose parents smoke at home.
Because ear infections often accompany a cold, they are especially
frequent during the fall and winter months.
Office of Patient Education, University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics,
Document # 1193 Since fluid can remain in the middle ear space for
weeks or even months after successful treatment of an infection,
your child may experience a temporary hearing problem.

The purposes of this bulletin are to give medical personnel
and other interested parties current information about hyperreactivity
to diisocyanates and to outline the medical implications of the
condition.
In the United States, MDI is the usual abbreviation for "pure"
(as opposed to modified or polymeric) diphenylmethane diisocyanate,
or methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, or methylene bis (p-phenyl isocyanate),
or diisocyanatodiphenylmethane.
The primary hazard associated with the use of diisocyanates stems
from the inhalation of vapors and aerosol mists.
There are two common forms of specific diisocyanate hypersensitive
reactions, affecting either the bronchial or the alveolar level
of the respiratory tract.
These symptoms may occur either immediately upon exposure (or re-exposure)
or may occur 6 to 8 hours later.

I began using such heavy make up that part of my acne
problem was acne cosmetica.
The skin's pores have a tough time dealing with the skin's own oil
sebum, so rubbing in more irritating oils is one of the worst things
you can do.
Hypo allergenic may mean the product is perfume free, yet it could
still contain ingredients harmful to acne prone individuals.
Lets Talk Cosmetics Page 1 of 5 Not all "oil free" moisturizers
for cosmetics are oil free; some contain oil like synthetics that
can provoke acne prone skin.
In testing cosmetic ingredients, lanolin was our first consideration
as it is, perhaps, the most common ingredient in cosmetics.
