I must have just developed the cat
allergy in the last couple of years, because I hung around
all number of cats as a kid with no noticeable results.
It does explain my unhappiness in the Entropy Apartment, though
- that place was a filthy pit of dust and hair after the 2nd month,
even if you ignore all the dust that was created when the bathroom
ceiling fell in.
If your cat cannot tolerate being bathed, then try wiping her
down with a special hypo-allergenic dust cloth or a specially-designed
"pet wipe" in order to remove dried saliva and loose
hair.

The main reason people want these crossbreeds is for their allergy
to dog hairs, the Poodle and most of the crossbreeds do not
seem to aggravate those with allergies to animal hair.
Allergies to animals are common, for immune systems are very sensitive
to foreign animal proteins.
I commonly hear of people having cats or dogs for many years,
only to develop allergies later in life.

David Reading, head of the U.K.'s Anaphylaxis Campaign, told
the BBC parents of children should be aware of the new findings.
But he warned emergency medication should be accessible until
the child has been tolerant for one to two years.
PEANUT ALLERGY: Peanut
sensitivity is a common allergy in North America and because this
allergy is often associated with anaphylactic reactions and because
it is a common foodstuff, peanut sensitivity represents one of
the most worrisome of allergic reactions.
Anaphylaxis is defined as a multisystem allergic reaction and
in children is most threatening when the reaction involves the
respiratory system (any of choking, stridor, coughing, wheezing).

The results indicate that applying positive and negative ions
to airborne mite allergens (particulate matter from the dead bodies
and feces of mites floating in the air) in a concentration of
10,000 ions/cm3 deactivates 91% of the allergens within approximately
15 minutes by a chemical reaction with the ions (even when the
ion concentration is only 3,000 ions/cm3, 74% are deactivated
in approximately 15 minutes).
Are health effects consistent with mold
related allergies?
Allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (ABPA) complicates asthma
and cystic fibrosis.
Patients with ABPA can have cylindrical, varicose, and cystic
bronchiectasis that involves multiple bronchi.40-43 When patients
with asthma were examined, bronchial wall thickening was noted,
and as many as 29% of patients had localized areas of cylindrical
bronchiectasis.41 Typically, just 1 or 2 lobes are affected in
patients with asthma.40,41,43 Thus, as seen on high-res-olution
CT, proximal bronchiectasis can be present in patients with asthma
in the absence of ABPA; however, the CT results in patients with
ABPA should have more areas of involvement.
Outdoor allergens include pollens, mold and mildew, and pollutants
(ozone and exhaust fumes from vehicles).

Many allergy sufferers are currently suffering through one of their
most miserable times of the year because the ragweeds and many other
plants are pollinating.
Corn has been commonly described
by the number of days required to reach maturity.
This was not entirely accurate because unusually cool or hot weather
could change the days required to reach maturity.

The term "food allergy"
is often is used to describe any abnormal reaction to food.
An allergy decision tree is used where the allergenicity of the
donor and parent, homology with known allergens and the databases
of sera from people with food allergies are considered.
Support continues to grow from professional organisations representing
medical and health interests and from organisations concerned
about the affect of unhealthy food promotions on children's current
and longer term health.
Stephen Barrie, N.D. The purpose of food allergy testing is to
determine in a reliable and reproducible manner a patient's food
sensitivities.
In contrast, clinicians reserve the term for immunologically mediated
abnormal reactions to foods.
