Zinacef - used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections
Side Effects:
Notify your doctor immediately if an allergic reaction occurs while
using this medication.
Symptoms include difficulty breathing, skin rash, hives, itching.
Tell your doctor if you experience nausea, vomiting, severe stomach
cramps, watery or bloody diarrhea, fever or unusual weakness either
while using this drug or after discontinuing use.
Also, report promptly any persistent sore throat,easy bruising
or bleeding or a change in amount of urine. 
Precautions:
Before using this medication, tell your doctor if you are allergic
to penicillins, cephalosporins or any other drugs.
Also, tell your doctor if you have a history of kidney, liver or
stomach problems.
Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result
in a secondary infection (e.g., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection).
This drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed.
Since small amounts of the drug appear in breast milk, consult
your doctor before breast-feeding.

- Treatment of bacterial infections.
Will not cure viral infections such as cold and flu..
Interaction With Other Substances;
Alcohol:
Increased kidney toxicity, likelihood of disulfiram-like effect.
Beverages:
None expected.
Cocaine:
None expected, but cocaine may slow
body's recovery. Avoid.
Foods:
Slow absorption. Take with liquid 1 hour before or 2 hours after
eating.
Marijuana:
None expected, but marijuana may
slow body's recovery. Avoid.
Tobacco:
None expected. 
Interaction With Other Drugs;
Anticoagulants Increased anticoagulant effect.
Erythromycins Decreased antibiotic effect of cefaclor.
Chloramphenicol Decreased antibiotic effect of cefaclor.
Clindamycin Decreased antibiotic effect of cefaclor.
Non-steroidal anti- inflammatory analgesics (NSAIDs) Increased risk
of peptic ulcer.
Probenecid Increased cefaclor effect.
Tetracyclines Decreased antibiotic effect of cefaclor. 
Overdose
Symptoms:
Abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, severe diarrhea with mucus or
blood in stool, convulsions.
What To Do:
Overdose unlikely to threaten life.
If person takes much larger amount than prescribed, call doctor,
poison-control center or hospital emergency room for instructions.

After:
Life-threatening:
Hives, rash, intense Seek emergency
itching, faintness treatment immediately.
soon after a dose
(anaphylaxis); difficulty
breathing.
Common:
Rash, redness, itching. Discontinue.
Call doctor right away.
Diarrhea (mild).
Continue.
Call doctor when convenient.
Infrequent:
Rectal itching, oral or Continue.

vaginal white spots. when convenient.
Rare:
Mild nausea, vomiting, cramps, severe diarrhea with mucus or blood
in stool, unusual weakness, tiredness, weight loss, fever, bleeding
or bruising, abdominal cramping pain, increased thirst, convulsions,
joint pain, appetite loss.
Discontinue.
Call doctor right away.
