Zovirax 800 mg - used to treat herpes infections
Side Effects:
This medication may cause stomach upset, loss of appetite, nausea,
vomiting, diarrhea, headache, dizziness or weakness.
These effects should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts
to the medication.
If they persist or become worse, inform your doctor.
Notify your doctor if you experience numbness or tingling of the
hands or feet, leg pain, sore throat or a skin rash while taking
this medication. 
Precautions:
:This medication should be used cautiously during pregnancy only
if clearly needed.
It is not known if this medication appears in breast milk.
Consult with your doctor before before breast-feeding.

Uses
- Treatment and prevention of severe herpes infections of genitals
occurring for first time in special cases.
- Treatment of severe herpes infections on mucous membrane of mouth
and lips in special cases.
- Used for shingles (herpes zoster) and chicken pox (varicella)
in special cases. 
Interaction With Other Substances;
Alcohol: No problems expected.
Beverages: No problems expected.
Cocaine: Increased chance of brain and nervous system adverse reaction.
Avoid.
Foods: No problems expected.
Marijuana: Increased chance of brain and nervous system adverse
reaction. Avoid.
Tobacco: No problems expected. 
Interaction With Other Drugs;
Interferon Neurological abnormalities. Avoid.
Methotrexate Neurological abnormalities. Avoid.
Other medications that can cause toxic effects on kidneys, such
as: amikacinamphotericin
Possible increased kidney toxicity. 
Zidovudine Increased risk of nerve damage.
Overdose
Symptoms:
Hallucinations, seizures, kidney shutdown.
What To Do:
- Dial 0 (operator) or 911 (emergency) for an ambulance or medical
help.
Then give first aid immediately. 
After:
Common:
Rash, hives, itch, mild pain, burning or stinging of skin, lightheadedness,
headache, joint pain, diarrhea. Continue. Call doctor when convenient.
Infrequent:
Confusion, hallucinations, trembling, dizziness. Discontinue. Call
doctor right away.
Rare:
Abdominal pain, decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, breathing
difficulty,
blood in urine, decreased urine volume, acne, insomnia. Discontinue.
Call doctor right away.
